Vulcan Twilight

                     A poem by S'Rith
                      Vulcan Twilight

Of all the things I have ever seen
               Night is the most pleasing
The sky is dark and full of stars
               Burning in the blackness
               The wind is cooler
The dunes are like platinum in the faint light
Not the brash coppery gold of daytime
Our sister planet hangs like an amber drop
               Glimmering in the blackness
Yes, night is a time to meditate
A time to think and reason
To touch the stars with our eyes
               And to understand.
