One last duty

                     A poem by S'Rith
One last duty (a Romulan poem)

The battle has been fought, and lost
The dying look to me for aid, and I can give them none
My heart is breaking for my crew,
most shall never again see home
The energy reserves are gone, the bridge is in flames
There is no way to self destruct, we go to be prisoners
Our honor is lost, but what is the honor in dying?
It is time to tend the wounded, and await boarding,
Come, my old friend, there is one last duty to perform.
